Senior Software Engineer – Full-stack

The Role

We are looking for a senior full stack developer to join our technical team to build and maintain software systems for supporting the fund’s trading operations (algorithmic trading, research, and accounting). Ideally you have experience with financial software and/or cryptocurrency trading.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software systems that support the fund’s operations
  • Take responsibility for the code you write and strive to improve it
  • Participate in code reviews with other engineers
  • Instrument and profile systems to improve visibility

Skills

  • Experience taking project through software development lifecycle
  • Experience building reliable and low latency backend systems
  • Self-starter: you are motivated to succeed and enjoy controlling all aspects of a project

Blockchain Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a blockchain developer to join our technical team to integrate our internal systems with various on-chain (Ethereum) DeFi protocols. You ideally have strong experience building on the Ethereum mainnet (smart contracts and node infrastructure) and interest or experience in other public blockchains.

Responsibilities

  • Educate the rest of the team on technical details of new DeFi protocols
  • Integrate our existing smart contract platform with new DeFi protocols
  • Automate where possible to streamline the development/deployment workflow
  • Participate in code reviews for other internal projects

Skills

  • Strong knowledge and experience with EVM smart contracts
  • Strong software development background (ideally experience with Go and/or Rust)
  • Strong knowledge of P2P networks
  • Strong knowledge of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code
  • Experience with Etheruem node software (Geth and/or OpenEthereum) – how would you modify client software to maximize the number of connected peers?
